John and Angel Beeson

John Beeson grew up in Tucson, Arizona and received his undergraduate degree from Gordon College. After serving as a Detention Officer in Maricopa County, John received his MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary. He pastored in Princeton for 8 years before returning to Arizona. John sits on the board of Preach It, Teach It. He writes regularly for The Gospel Coalition, For The Church, and Preach It, Teach It. John also belongs to “The Gospel Writers’ Guild,” a group of Christian writers, and is part of two pastor groups: one affiliated with the Conservative Baptist Association, and the other affiliated with The Gospel Coalition.

Angel Beeson received her Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and has over 10 years of counseling experience. She is the founder of Whole Hope Christian Counseling. She is also part of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and is certified as a Nutritional Health Coach and Holy Yoga Instructor.

John and Angel have been married for twenty years. They have two teenagers who bring them constant laughter and joy.

Their first book, Substitute Identities, will be published by Kregel in 2023.
