Robert Beeson is the Founder/former President of Essential Records as well as former Senior Vice President of Sony/Provident Label Group. He oversaw the signing and/or development of artists; Jars of Clay, Third Day, Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns and many others, representing over 14 million albums sold, six Grammy®awards, seven Grammy®nominations and 35 Dove awards. Robert went on to found iShine - The largest Christian Tween media company in the world (iShine KNECT TV show is watched by 1 million viewers every week). The iShinebrand features national tours, music, DVDs, Bibles and books. In 2013 he became a founding member of the TGA (Tween Gospel Alliance). Most recently he authored the book, Going Solo, Hope and Healing for the Single Mom or Dad from Focus on the Family and founded a ministry to Single Parents called Solo Parent Society. He lives in Franklin, TN with his wife and 6 children.
